When I was in my early teens and intrigued by the dark side of life, I used to enjoy telling people that, not unlike Shirley Manson, the lead singer of 90’s indie band, Garbage, I was ‘only happy when it rained’. However, these days, that couldn’t be further from the truth. When you have to trundle through mucky puddle-filled pavements whilst being slapped in the face by cold gusts of wind and battered by harsh, heavy droplets of rain on your way to work, just about every morning, it makes you think twice about repeating such lyrics…
Does anyone know what happened to Garbage anyway? They were a great band…
