A little pizza hell

A little pizza hell  After all the build up, it was inevitable that the pizza wouldn’t turn out the way I’d hoped. 

Before the meal, I envisaged a large, thin, stone baked base with minimal tomato puree, a fair amount of spicy pepperoni, heavy on the jalapenos. However, it was quite the opposite. The crust was doughy and the base was difficult to cut. I asked for ‘loadsa jalapenos’ and got 4! I also asked for a pint of Diet Pepsi and got a pint of lemonade! Pah! I think I’ll stick to Pizza Hut!

Today I am mostly looking forward to:


LUNCHTIME.

Because me and a few work colleagues are going to an Italian restaurant www.giuseppes.co.uk and I intend to stuff myself with the ‘Pizza Mafiosa’ which I think sounds slightly dangerous.

Pizza is my favourite food. I can eat it any day of the week and every day of the week and I NEVER get fed up of it. 
However, I haven’t eaten a proper Italian pizza in a while. Lately, the Co-op’s own brand pizzas have had to suffice, but today I intend to stuff myself with authentic, homemade pizza till the jalapenos make my eyes water and I’m practically breathing fire!

I will write a post when I return and fill you in on the meal!
